Autism Connections in Transition (ACT)

ACT is a group co-facilitated by Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). All group meetings will take place every two weeks at the SSD office in Louise Pound Hal room 117 from 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm. This drop-in group is designed to be used to supplement SSD's Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Transition Program, but no formal diagnosis of ASD is required to attend and students do not have to participate in the Transition Program. Group members are encouraged to bring topics for group discussion on the week’s theme and may participate as much or as little as they are comfortable. Group facilitators will also present relaxation and coping skills at the end of each group. See dates and topics below:
