Our Purpose:
We administer paper exams for UNL faculty and facilitate the accommodations for students with disabilities. We provide knowledgeable, courteous, professional testing environment and staff.
Testing Times:
Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
Finals week: Monday through Thursday, 8am - 8pm
Per University policy, final exams must end at noon of Friday of Final exam week
General Information
- The SSD Testing Center proctors paper exams only
- Use of the SSD Testing Center is by appointment only
- Seating is available on a first come first reserved basis
- Students must bring their NCard to check in for their exams
- All exams at the SSD Testing Center are proctored and monitored with surveillance cameras
- SSD Testing Center will supply all scratch paper
- Used and unused scratch paper must be turned in a the completion of the exam
- All personal items including phones, purses, wallets, smart watches, backpacks, books, or notes will be stored in the lockers at Testing Center unless otherwise permitted
- The SSD Testing Center is a fragrance-free space
Student Information
- If a break is permitted during exam, the student may not access their cell phone or any other electronic device
- Food is prohibited in the testing room unless it is an approved accommodation
- If student is unable to take exam due to illness they must contact their instructor as soon as possible to reschedule exam
Faculty Information
- Instructor decides where and when exams are administered
- Exams and quizzes should be received 24 hours prior to exam date
- Exams not take on the scheduled date (due to a student no-show) will be shredded
- If you need proctoring service on any date that does not have times available for your exam we will need you to select and alternate day
